Weeks 1–6, by hand

Three weeks of practice before the exam. This one covers description, probability, the normal, sampling distributions and estimation — the material the exam's first three exercises draw on. The practice arena gives you endless fresh numbers; the exam cards give you every question type; the room gives you the worked answers and the traps.

By the end of Week 13 you will be able to

  • Do a full descriptive analysis — displays, centre, spread, position — in twenty minutes without notes.
  • Compute binomial and normal probabilities and inverse normal values fluently.
  • Build any confidence interval of the course and choose z or t correctly.
  • Recognise from the wording which method a question wants.
